50 Cent breaks his silence as Diddy faces new slew of sex trafficking and rape allegations

50 Cent has broken his silence on the sex trafficking and rape allegations Diddy faced after claiming he has criticized the fellow rapper’s behavior for “a decade.”

The rapper’s comments come as Diddy is hit with a second round of sexual assault lawsuits, including allegations that he drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in Manhattan last month after an investigation into alleged sex trafficking, and he is accused of drugging and raping victims as young as nine.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE50 Cent has spoken out about Combs’ alleged behavior and how he previously mocked Combs online and at concerts.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, said: “Look, it seems like I’m doing extremely outrageous things, but I’m not. Actually, I’m just saying what I’ve been saying for ten years.

“Now it’s getting more and more elaborate in the news… I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective, because I used to stay away from stuff like that all the time because this isn’t my style.’

The two rappers have been involved in a long-running feud since the pair first met in the 1990s when they moved in the same circles, but 50 Cent never considered Combs a friend.

In 2006, any pretense of even a working relationship was crushed when 50 Cent released his diss track The Bomb.

In it, he accused Diddy of being involved in the 1997 murder of fellow artist Biggie Smalls.

Diddy has been plagued by rumors that he knows more about the deaths of both Biggie and Tupac, and Diddy was named in the latter’s court papers. He denies any involvement.

Then, in both 2018 and 2024, 50 Cent claimed that he felt “a little uncomfortable” about the rapper for a long time.

50 Cent has since announced that he will be releasing a docuseries on Netflix that will explore the allegations of sexual assault and violence against Combs.

The In Da Club hitmaker has been teasing the docuseries for months, with star and director Alexandria Stapleton saying the series would be a “complex story spanning decades.”

A statement read: ‘This is a story with significant human impact. It’s a complex story that spans decades, not just the headlines or snippets seen so far.

“We remain steadfast in our commitment to giving voice to the voiceless and presenting authentic and nuanced perspectives.

“While the allegations are disturbing, we urge everyone to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We want to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the broader contributions of culture.”

50 Cent will executive produce through his G-Unit Film & Television banner, while Stapleton will executive produce for House of Nonfiction.

Combs faces sexual abuse allegations dating back to the 1990s. These include allegations that Diddy drugged a 13-year-old girl in 2000 and raped a man in 2022.

Texas attorney Tony Buzbee announced seven new claims last night, days after filing the first six lawsuits by anonymous plaintiffs last Monday. More than a hundred other potential victims have come forward.

Buzbee is serving as lead counsel on the litigation through his Buzbee Law Firm practice in Houston, with AVA Law Group in California and Curis Law in New York assisting.

The lawyer said last week that a hotline he set up for victims and witnesses of Diddy and his associates received 12,000 calls within 24 hours.

His team collected enough evidence to file 120 lawsuits against the rapper, and announced this at a press conference three weeks ago.

Of the 120 alleged victims, 25 were minors at the time of the abuse, the youngest were 9, 14, 15 years old.

The first civil lawsuit against Diddy came in November last year from his former girlfriend and singer Cassandra Ventura. Ms Ventura, who goes by Cassie, accused Diddy of violent abuse.

Cassie revealed details of Diddy’s alleged drug-fueled “freak offs” sex parties that would last for days and were filmed by Diddy.

Diddy and Cassie settled the case for an undisclosed amount, with DIddy still professing his innocence.

However, this lawsuit has caused the number of sexual assault allegations against Diddy to explode.

In May this year, shocking CCTV footage showed Diddy grabbing Cassie by the neck before throwing her to the ground and violently kicking her. The attack was captured on several cameras at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles in March 2016

The attack was captured on several cameras at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles in March 2016. Diddy apologized to Casssie for the attack and said he took “full responsibility.”

After this, more and more lawsuits were filed, including an accusation by former pornographic film star Adria English that Diddy had induced her to engage in sex trafficking between 2004 and 2009.

Following a grand jury indictment, Diddy was arrested in Manhattan on September 16, 2023. A day later, he was charged with sex trafficking, extortion and transportation for prostitution.

More details were revealed about the ‘freak offs’. It was claimed that staff arranged travel for the victims and provided them with medication, while some required IV fluids to recover from the company.

Prosecutors also alleged that Mr. Combs recorded the “freak offs” and used the footage to silence his victims.

On October 1, attorneys said more than 100 people planned to sue Diddy.
