Michael Clifford becomes a girl dad.
The 5 Seconds of Summer guitarist, 27, is expecting his first child with wife Crystal Leigh, 34, and the couple celebrated their baby shower on Sunday, July 2.
The parents-to-be kicked off the party by doing a gender reveal, firing cannons that burst pink powder and streamers.
Michael shared intimate photos of the emotional moment when they realized they were expecting a baby girl and said he was thrilled to be a father to a daughter.
“I’m going to be a girl dad,” he wrote in the caption.

The photos showed the musician keeping to the theme, wearing a light blue shirt and pink beanie, while Crystal wore a strapless pink mini dress.
The pair both burst into tears of joy as the guns burst.
However, according to People magazine, the reveal didn’t go quite as expected.
“I really enjoyed the part where a cannon malfunctioned and went off too early,” Crystal told the outlet.

“The shower gender reveal part was kind of an afterthought, so we were all still figuring out where to stand when it happened.”
Michael also said he had “always wanted to be a girl dad.”
“I couldn’t stop crying when I found out it was a girl… I’m so over the moon,” he said.

The Quakers Hill-born music superstar revealed the expected delivery date in the caption of his post.
Clifford wrote, ‘you are already everything baby clifford 11/11/23′.

They postponed their lavish overseas wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but decided to keep their original wedding date of January 2021 by getting married at their home in Los Angeles.
Michael and Crystal threw a lavish party in their backyard, with rows of tables under Christmas lights and decorated with elaborate flower displays.
Guests included Michael’s 5SOS bandmates Luke Hemmings, bassist Calum Hood and drummer Ashton Irwin.
Crystal shone in not one, but two wedding dresses by designer Galia Lahav on the day, while Michael wore a suit by Yves Saint Laurent.
Her first dress featured a bustier neckline and an A-line skirt with semi-sheer details and crystal embellishment.
She then changed into a long-sleeved white gown, looking every inch the blushing and modern bride.

For food, Michael revealed that they mixed classic Australian dishes with some vegan treats.
The couple saved traditional aspects of a wedding for their wedding in Bali, including saying their wedding vows so Crystal could share some special moments with her mother.
