Brock Purdy is the starting quarterback for one of the NFL’s best teams, has never lost a regular season game and makes $870k a year – a fortune for most non-athletes.

But the 49ers passer still lives with a roommate.

In an interview with TODAYPurdy revealed that he lives with an unnamed offensive lineman on the team.

“So he and I still split rent,” Purdy said.

‘I still drive my Toyota Sequoia. Other than that, it’s pretty simple.’

By NFL standards, Purdy is paid modestly, as he was selected with the last pick of the 2022 draft.

Since then, he has seized the 49ers’ starting quarterback job after injuries to Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo.

Including the playoffs, Purdy won his first seven starts for San Francisco, and his form has carried over into this season.

The former Iowa State passer has 1,019 yards, five touchdowns and a 72.3 percent completion rate through four games this season — with the 49ers undefeated thus far.

Purdy and the 49ers will hope to improve to 5-0 this weekend against the Cowboys.
