Christian McCaffrey is expected to be sidelined for six weeks with a PCL injury, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has announced.
McCaffrey, who will not undergo surgery on the problem, limped off injured again having only recently made his long-awaited return.
The running back has been placed on injured reserve after his latest setback.
