The holidays are over and the new year is here, which means another 365 days of new movies, books, games, TV shows, and anime to get excited about. 2025 is already looking like a doozy. Winter may only last a few months into the new year, but the avalanche of great content won’t stop until December next year.

But for all those releases, 2025 also has a lot of question marks, including what exactly Nintendo’s Switch 2 will look like (let alone the release date), or Grand Theft Auto 6 actually comes out, what DC’s new superhero universe could look like, and of course how much money Avatar3 will make.
