RENTON, Wash. — Four people were killed and four others were injured Tuesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in suburban Seattle, fire officials said.
Firefighters were dispatched to Renton around 12:45 p.m. for a crash involving four vehicles, Puget Sound Regional Fire Department spokesman Pat Pawlak said. Four vehicles were involved in the accident.
Four people died at the scene and three others were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Another person with minor injuries was also transported, he said.
Pawlak had no information about the victims or how the crash happened. The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
Renton is located 12 miles southeast of downtown Seattle.
