3 essential Apple iPhone accessories that are really worth buying
We write about the best phones here at Ny Breaking every day, but we rarely think about the accessories (think cases, chargers and adapters) that make these products even better.
I’ve made no secret of my preference for iPhone over Android, so in this article I thought I’d share with you the three iPhone accessories I use alongside my iPhone 15 Pro to get the most out of what for me the best is iPhone that Apple has ever released (we will post an Android equivalent version of the same format in the coming weeks).
By the way, all three products in the list below can be purchased directly from Apple, but where possible you’ll also see links to cheaper third-party retailers in the US, UK and Australia under each listing.
Apple MagSafe Charger
I was initially skeptical about the benefits of MagSafe charging – after all, having a magnetic charger on the back of your phone makes the whole ‘wireless’ thing redundant – but The official MagSafe charger from Apple is definitely worth the $39 / £45 / AU$69 splurge just for the convenience.
If you have an iPhone 12 or later, this nice-looking drive will charge your device at up to 15W, and you’ll never have to worry about the right charging cable again (if you’re switching from a Lightning-equipped iPhone 12 to a USB-C -equipped iPhone 15For example, you do not have to invest again in a new charger).
Additionally, Apple’s MagSafe charger can fill up the wireless charging case used to power AirPods, so if, like me, you own an iPhone 15 (USB-C) and the old generation of AirPods (Lightning), this is still a one- Suitable for everyone.

Apple iPhone FineWoven wallet with MagSafe
Sticking with the MagSafe theme, Apple’s MagSafe Wallet is another one of the best MagSafe accessories available in 2024. I actually own the now discontinued leather version of this product, which has held up remarkably well despite its age, but since that MagSafe wallet was replaced with a FineWoven version in 2023, this is your best bet if you’re looking for a way to keep your cards safe and sound without having to lug around an actual wallet.
Yes, it’s true that Apple’s new FineWoven material hasn’t been well received by customers purchasing FineWoven phone cases, but the FineWoven MagSafe Wallet is at least compatible with the company’s Find My network (the first-generation leather version was not, and as of 2024, only some third-party MagSafe wallets are compatible with Find My). This essentially means that you can track and locate your wallet should you lose it.
The FineWoven MagSafe Wallet supports up to three cards and can be stacked on top of a MagSafe-compatible iPhone case, so you don’t have to sacrifice protection for convenience. Again, some third-party alternatives also offer this functionality, but I haven’t tried them myself, so I can only attest to the usability of the Apple version.

Apple Air Tag
Okay, this isn’t an iPhone accessory per se, but if you haven’t invested in one yet Apple Air Tagyou’re missing out on some serious peace of mind.
In today’s world it can be easy to lose sight of the little things – and I mean that literally, but also metaphorically. Apple AirTags are a great way to keep an eye on the whereabouts of your seemingly anthropomorphic keys, wallet or briefcase from the convenience of your iPhone, and while their asking price of $29 / £35 / AU$49 may seem high, you’ll be grateful for the investment when you realize that your luggage did not actually arrive on the plane at Doha Airport.
If you’re happy to lose several important things at once (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?), Apple (and even most third-party retailers) also offers an AirTag pack of four for $99 / £119 / AU$165, which is a slightly better value.
