Special features include H-shaped front and rear lights, a wireless smartphone charging dock, 12.3-inch ‘infotainment’ systems and a UV-C sterilization tray in the glove box – which uses UV light to kill bacteria on frequently used items such as phones and wallets.
The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe comes in 10 colors, including terracotta orange, cream white, silver and abyss black pearl.
The current Hyundai Santa Fe model has front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, but the South Korean car company has yet to say whether they will take the next step and include all-wheel drive in the new range.

The model also has a longer wheelbase, maximizing interior space by allowing the second and third row seats to fold flat.
“The all-new Santa Fe is an SUV that strikes a perfect balance between city life and the great outdoors, capable of handling everything from busy family itineraries to camping adventures,” said Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai Global Design Center, SangYup Lee.
“With its longer wheelbase, roomy interior and terraced tailgate, the new Santa Fe leans on its SUV strengths to deliver more versatility than ever before with a premium customer experience.”
The interior is available in five colors: Obsidian Black, Supersonic Grey, Pecan Brown, Forest Green and Black Ink

Eco-friendly materials have also been used for the black paint on the exterior trim, made from recycled carbon.
The leatherette seats are made of materials that “minimize risks to human health,” according to Hyundai.
The new model also has a console compartment that can be opened by both rear and front passengers, along with a digital center mirror, which allows the driver to see behind the car even when the boot is locked.

Another smart feature is that the 2024 Santa Fe comes with a New Driver Attention Warning system that monitors the driver’s eye and head movements and issues an alert if it detects drowsiness.
The vehicle is also assisted in returning to the center of the lane if the car detects drift.
Australia’s Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to be powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine or a hybrid combining a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol with an electric motor.
A diesel engine will not be available in any market.
While the price for the 2024 model is unknown, it will likely be more than the $46,050 price tag for the current Santa Fe models.
The trunk space has also been increased by 91 litres. The gear lever has also moved from the center console to the steering wheel panel, with Apple Carplay and Android Audio another feature.
