A 102-year-old woman has revealed her rather unique secret to living a long life and staying positive — and her advice is simpler than you might think.

Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Elinor Campbell Feihel didn’t attribute her youthful demeanor and longevity to healthy living or a rigorous wellness regimen, but rather to alcohol.

She relies on a glass of whiskey, vodka, cognac or bourbon every night to feel decades younger.

In an interview with WSYXthe 102-year-old said she had a “whole bar” at her house.

She confessed that her advice to those who want to live long is to drink.

‘I drink a little. I have a whole bar. Every other night I drink vodka, but the other nights I do brandy, bourbon, Irish whiskey and honey whiskey,” Elinor told the outlet.

And Elinor impressively keeps a smile on her face every day, adding that she stays positive by going with the flow.

She said, “I don’t plan ahead. This is day by day.’

Born in 1921 – the Roaring Twenties – Elinor grew up during the Great Depression, which helped her learn the true meaning of hard work.

“I learned from the depression. It didn’t victimize me. It was good for me. I was about to become a princess, and princesses don’t have a good life,” she added.

She became known for her sassy attitude and is even still compared to Sophia on the TV show The Golden Girls because of her jokes.

She now has nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, with whom she keeps in touch by sending letters.

‘I have contact with a lot of people, a lot of people. I send 130 to 150 Christmas cards. I’m good for something. Not just taking up space,” she said.

Besides loving her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Elinor also loves actor Tom Selleck from the series Bluebloods, joking that the two have “dates” every weekend.

“Tom Selleck and I have lunch every Saturday because he’s on Friday night,” the 102-year-old said.
