1000lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton shows off 300lb weight loss in new photos

New photos have surfaced Tammy Slaton of TLC reality show 1000-lb Sisters, prompting fans to comment on her weight-loss success.

The reality star, 36, has now lost about 300 pounds, according to The sunafter years of dealing with health problems.

Tammy once tipped the scales at around 700 pounds, but last year, after spending time in a rehab center, she revealed she had reached her goal weight of 250 pounds, which meant she could have bariatric surgery.

Last December, she shared a TikTok video showing off her new look, prompting fans to praise her for how “amazing” she looks.

And now she looks slimmer in the photos Southern Indiana Combat Production shared on its Facebook page last week.

The images, which show a radiant Tammy with her sister Amy, were praised by her fans, who took to Reddit to discuss her massive weight loss.

One of them wrote, “Can you imagine how much better she feels, and that’s probably why her attitude is better.” I know she still has a way to go, but what she’s already lost must be a huge relief to her body. I’m proud of her and hope she continues on a healthier path.”

Another agreed, adding: “People keep saying they can’t see she’s lost a huge amount of weight. Look at her! She’s half the size she used to be and that’s obvious!’

Meanwhile, another noted that Tammy was standing unassisted, after years of using a wheelchair or walker.

They wrote, ‘Seriously, good for her! I’ve never seen her without a walker.’

Another Redditor commented, “This is the first time I’ve seen Tammy standing and looking like she can actually stand just fine on her own.” Good for her!!!’

In addition to losing significant weight over the past year, Tammy has also enjoyed happiness in her personal life.

In November, Tammy – who previously revealed she was pansexual – married her partner, Caleb Willingham, in an intimate ceremony surrounded by only family and loved ones.

But earlier in the year she caused panic among fans, after her TikTok account appeared to be deactivated after she was rushed to the emergency room.

Tammy had been taking her fans through her social media on her weight loss journey while being treated at the rehab center.

But when fans noticed her social media account was showing an error message as she was sent to the hospital and put on a ventilator after she stopped breathing, they panicked.

At the hospital, Tammy underwent a tracheotomy – a surgical procedure in which doctors make an incision in the neck and insert a breathing tube into the trachea.

Fans took to Reddit to praise the reality star’s progress, with many saying they were happy to see her continue to shed the pounds

The following days were filled with many ups and downs for Tammy and her family, as medical experts told the reality star’s family that she might not survive.

The terrifying ordeal was featured in the season three finale of the reality TV series, with Tammy’s sister Amanda telling the cameras, “They’re just telling us her lungs have given up and like her body is giving out.”

“So right now we are faced with arranging my little sister’s funeral […] She’s been in such a bad place for so long.

‘She’s waited too long. And now that she’s got the courage to step out and get the help she needs, now this.”

However, around the time she left the food rehab facility last December, she had the tracheotomy removed and seems to have seen improvements in her health ever since.
