  • $100 Million Powerball Numbers for Draw 1420
  • The winning numbers are 13, 7, 18, 1, 23, 25, 33 and 7

The winning numbers of Australia’s $100 million Powerball have been drawn.

They are 13, 7, 18, 1, 23, 25, 33 and the Powerball is 7.

Lotterywest said Thursday night that there will be two Division One winners who will each take home $50 million.

There were also 49 Division 2 winners who took home a tidy $40,880 each.

This week’s Draw 1420 is the co-equal jackpot of all Australian lottery games this year, coming after five draws without a Division One winner.

Lotterywest spokesman James Mooney said neither of the two Division One winners were from WA.

But he added that the state-run lottery had provided $20.4 million to support the local community through a grant program.

Lott spokeswoman Anna Hobdell said queues had formed at outlets across the country as punters scrambled to get a last-minute ticket before the draw closed at 7.30pm.

She shared how hopeful Aussies tried to increase their chances of taking home the eye-popping cash prize.

“The last time we had a $100 million Powerball draw was only six weeks ago,” said Ms. Hobdell.

“A Bankstown dad pocketed the entire jackpot prize to become Australia’s second-biggest individual lottery winner,” she added.

“On that occasion, the peak of sales was at 6:29 pm on the day of the draw, when more than 8,227 tickets were sold in one minute.”

Ms Hobdell said the best advice for anyone wanting to take home the ‘massive’ payout is to get in early.

“Our tip to players is to register any Powerball entries on a player card or online account,” she said.

‘That’s so they can be contacted straight after the draw if they score a share of the Division One prize.

“We also recommend that players ensure their contact details are up to date as we aim to reveal the life-changing news as soon as possible.”

Lotterywest recently revealed that the most popular winning tickets of Western Australia’s Division One winners were ‘swallow’.

Some 53 Western Australian ticket holders have won a Division One prize worth a total of $166 million, with more than 70 per cent coming from a ‘swallow’ ticket.

An 18-game gulp accounted for seven Division One winners, while 12 and 50-game gulps created six winners each.

Those who buy the ticket will be given a group of random numbers that will be picked for them, after choosing a draw they want to participate in.

Last year, three players took home a share of a whopping $160 million lottery draw, while another family man from NSW’s Coffs Harbor took home $126 million.

This year’s biggest winner so far was a man and his wife in South West Sydney’s Bankstown, and the pair scored the $100 million Powerball in June.

He told the Australian National Lottery: ‘Am I dreaming? Am I a millionaire now?’

He said he would spend the money on a new house, but planned to continue working before retiring.
