’10 years have flown by!’ Prince Albert’s love child Jazmin Grimaldi reveals more snaps from her half-brother’s birthday party that was attended by her father… but Princess Charlene was nowhere to be seen

Prince Albert’s eldest child, Jazmin Grimaldi, has celebrated her brother’s 20th birthday by sharing sweet snaps of the siblings together when they were younger.

Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste celebrated with a family meal – attended by his father Prince Albert, mother Nicole Coste and half-sister Jazmin.

Jazmin posted photos to Instagram from when the two were younger, with one featuring Alexandre posing in a FC Barcelona football shirt.

She captioned the footage: “10 years have flown by… Happy 20th birthday to the most amazing little brother a big sister could wish for. love you brother!’

Jazmin, 31, is the daughter and eldest child of Prince Albert of Monaco, whom he shares with American Tamara Rotolo.

His half-sister Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, who was also eating dinner, posted a picture of them both when they were younger, showing Alexandre wearing a FC Barcelona football jersey.

She later also shared a photo in her story of his birthday cake, layered with cream and fruit, and tagged Alexandre’s story.

This comes as Alexandre’s mother Nicole Coste, 51, posted some photos from his birthday on the social media platform.

In one of the snaps, Prince Albert, 65, sits between his eldest son and his smiling ex-lover Nicole.

The family gathered outside to share an intimate meal surrounded by greenery.

The former Togo flight attendant wrote, “Congratulations Alexandre,” with a love heart emoji as the caption.

However, the royal wife, Princess Charlene, 45, was nowhere to be seen.

They also enjoyed a second birthday cake, red and white, with the flag of Monaco and the text ‘Congratulations Alexandre, 20 years old.’ It also contained the coat of arms of Monaco.

Although he is Albert’s eldest son, he is not in the line of succession to the Monégasque throne, as his parents were not married when he was born.

The royal family also has twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, eight, who he shares with his wife Princess Charlene.

Because Prince Jacques is Albert’s “legitimate” child (because he was born when he married Charlene), he is the current heir to the Monegasque throne.

Alexandre recently lashed out at trolls calling him illegitimate, saying he found it “offensive” because his parents “didn’t commit adultery.”

The university student, who studies business and management in Britain, gave a telling interview to French magazine Point de Vue ahead of his birthday, in which he described father Prince Albert of Monaco, 65, as “benevolent” and said he considers himself as regarded as ‘benevolent’. ‘happy’.

His father acknowledged his paternity as a child, and despite growing up out of the limelight, he’s increasingly moved into the royal circle in recent years.

Since 2022, at the encouragement of his father, he has started to use the family name Grimaldi (although he also kept his mother’s, with the hyphen Grimaldi-Coste).

‘My father’s name is Grimaldi. It makes sense that I bear his name. My name would be Dochomel if my father had been Mr Dochomel!’ he told the magazine.’

He also hit back at being called “illegitimate” and complained that online trolls are questioning his legitimacy.

“When I was born, neither of my parents had another marriage, and they did not commit adultery. Using that word (unlawful) is offensive!

“I hope no one believes the lies on the internet. A person bears his father’s name if he has been recognized since birth. As a baby I received voluntary recognition from my father. Not from a judge or the press who forced him to do so,” he added.

“My mother, whom I love, is my rock, and she’s not jealous of my choice at all. If she never said anything about my last name, it’s to protect our privacy. I was two years old when I was revealed in the press.’

Alexandre, who studies Business Management and English, added that he lives with his mother and two older half-brothers from her previous marriage.

“Jazmin is my big sister, and I love her the way I love my two big brothers on my mother’s side,” added Alexandre.

“We all get along really well, and Jazmin is also very close to one of my two brothers, who shares the same birthday. We have a good relationship, even though we live in distant countries.’

He also joked that he has “tenderness” towards his younger siblings, but “doesn’t share their toys” because of the age difference.
